Herzing鈥檚 Brookfield Campus and Waukesha County Technical College Host Lunch and Learn for Local Nurses and Nursing Students
Herzing鈥檚 Brookfield campus and Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) hosted a lunch and learn for local RNs and Associate-level nursing students at the WCTC Pewaukee campus on February 20. The discussion focused on the future of Wisconsin nursing, specifically the employment opportunities available for RNs in the greater Milwaukee area.
The event featured a distinguished panel, facilitated by Herzing鈥檚 Brookfield Nursing Department Chair Dr. Deborah Zeibarth. Other speakers included Tammy Wimer, Children鈥檚 Hospital RN Case Manager; Becky Pogacar, Director of Nursing Operations for Aurora Health Care; Nancy Healy, Public Health Manager for Waukesha County Public Health Division and Susan Austin, 小黄书 Program Chair, RN-BSN. Each panelist brought a unique perspective to the discussion, highlighting the importance and the benefits of obtaining a Bachelor鈥檚 of Science in Nursing (BSN).
