Before returning to school, I was working hands-on as a nurse aide. I eventually realized that I wanted more of an office job, and that鈥檚 what started me down this new path.
After taking some time to look around, I found Herzing and their Medical Office Administration program. I had been looking for something just like it for quite a while, so I decided to take a leap of faith and apply. I鈥檓 glad I did, as it turned out to be perfect for me!
Unfortunately, I ended up having to battle stomach cancer during my studies. It required me to postpone quite a bit, and I had to do rehabilitation to regain my mobility. Eventually, however, I was able to get back on my feet with plenty of help from those at Herzing!
Chris, Sophia, my career coaches, and all my instructors were so helpful to me during my education. These individuals worked with and motivated me through the process, even when things became difficult. They always made me feel comfortable and motivated me to keep going, and I鈥檓 grateful for their support. I wouldn鈥檛 be where I am without their help!
