Since I was young, I鈥檝e always loved nursing and knew that I eventually wanted to become a nurse myself. When it came time to start working on this goal, I began to research schools in the area. Eventually, I chose Herzing because it seemed like it would be a good fit for me -- and it was!
I love this school and can confidently say that their teachers thrive on helping you. Professor Lyman was easily one of the best teachers I鈥檝e had in a very long time. He made learning for all his students so easy and understandable, and it helped me greatly.
School isn鈥檛 always easy, but that鈥檚 how you know you are learning. Even though there were instances where I struggled, ultimately, everything worked out fine! I think that I learned the most from my vSim, as it was very helpful when it came to preparing me for my future nursing career.
I didn鈥檛 realize how emotional nursing school would make me. I cried a lot (both happy and sad tears), but that shows how passionate and committed you must be to pursue this career path. At the end of the day, I wouldn鈥檛 have had it any other way!
Ultimately, what matters is that I got where I wanted to be with the help of Herzing鈥檚 amazing teachers! After graduating, I鈥檓 preparing to return to school so that I can earn my BSN.
